Brexiteer Nigel Evans just DESTROYED EU bigwig Tusk: ‘You don’t understand democracy!’

0

The UNELECTED President of the European Council Donald Tusk has encountered a lot of criticism over the last few days for saying that the whole process of Brexit can be reversed somehow – the whole outburst was a direct attempt to change the course of democracy after all!

In the wake of these remarks, the Brexiteer MP Nigel Evans has appeared on the BBC and slammed Tusk for ‘not understanding democracy,’ and it has to be said that ignoring the will of the people really isn’t the smartest move for the EU’s top brass at the moment.

Evans used the ‘undemocratic’ manner of Tusk’s appointment to the role to justify his own assessment of the situation.

According to a report in The Express:

Mr Evans said: “Poor Donald Tusk. When we talk about democracy, I really do appreciate why he doesn’t fully understand it.

“He has never been elected to the Presidency, like lots of other presidents. He’s just been elected by the countries’ prime ministers and governments.”

Despite having served as Prime Minister of Poland for seven years, Mr Tusk has since become a fierce eurocrat calling for further integration among member states and has harshly criticised the Brexit vote.

Mr Tusk recently said the European Union would be open to welcome the United Kingdom into the fold should Britons have a change of heart.

But Mr Evans claimed the eurocrat’s commitment to the European project makes him unable to understand the UK’s democratic decision to leave the Brussels bloc.

Speaking to the BBC, the Tory MP continued: “We understand exactly why he doesn’t really understand the fact that we’ve had the biggest festival of democracy that this country has ever seen – which was the referendum in 2016.

“The British people had a very binary question, in or out, they decided out and now that’s what we are going to deliver.”

Farage LETS RIP at EU parliament as he accuses them of working with Britain’s most hated politician

Nigel Farage has blasted the European Parliment and accused them of working with the most hated politician in the UK, Tony Blair.

Speaking in the European Parliament, Mr Farage said: “Let’s cast our minds back a short distance.

“The rejection of the Lisbon treaty by the Irish, a second referendum forced on their people conducted on the most unfair, undemocratic lines that I have ever seen.

“You are part, of course, a big attempt here and else where to frustrate and to attempt to overturn Brexit.

“You don’t want Britain to leave because you know if they do that others will leave too.

“I would just say this to you – I don’t want a second referendum on Brexit, absolutely not.

“But I fear that you are all working together with Tony Blair and Nick Clegg to make sure we get the worst possible deal.

“I say that because I’ve seen it all before. The difference is if you force the Brits to do it again, there will be a different outcome.”

Brexiteer blasts Blair Brexit intrusion after Barnier showdown and it’s spectacular to watch

Lord Digby Jones attacked Tony Blair, Nick Clegg and Lord Adonis for their anti-Brexit comments and attempts to reverse the vote.

Clearly, Blair, Clegg and Adonis do not understand democracy.

Lord Jones said: “It’s not about what I am concerned about. It’s about what 18million people are concerned about, who actually voted one way.

“Secondly so many small businesses, who I am in touch with around the country, who are absolutely fed up with what I would call the ABC faction.

“Which is Adonis, Blair, Clegg. And they think they speak for the country. Really? Their arrogance, it takes my breath away.

“At the end of the day, there is a type of tyranny in this where they say ‘no, no, no, we speak for it’. And of course, because they are public figures, with good quality serve track records, what they are is getting access.

“They’re getting airtime, they are getting in to see people like Barnier, and therefore I am worried that people like Michel Barnier think that they speak for Britain, they do not.”

Well said!

Here’s what happened when a BBC presenter got BLASTED by a foreign minister for ‘attacking Britain’

0

With the exception of the legendary Andrew Neil and perhaps John Humphrys, the BBC is becoming a cesspit of anti-British sentiments and all-out whining about Brexit and other affairs – therefore it was very pleasing to see a government foreign minister blast one of their presenters live on Newsnight!

While presenter Emily Maitlis was engaged in discussions with Harriet Baldwin on the subject of Donald Trump’s visit, the minister seized a perfect opportunity to tell her exactly what she thought of the BBC’s constant attempts to talk down the way that the Conservatives are running the country.

It all hinged on the BBC reporter pointing out that the French government had managed to organise a Trump visit while simultaneously being at odds with a number of Trump’s policies, and this prompted Baldwin to give the presenter and indeed the entire BBC ‘both barrels.’

According to a report in The Express:

As Mrs Maitlis questioned the minister on a future state visit from Donald Trump, she was grilled for being “incredibly negative, pessimistic and BBC-like”.

The presenter asked: “The perception is that Emmanuel Macron appears to handle his diplomacy with such ease doesn’t he?

“You know he pulled off the Trump visit with elegance while disagreeing with virtually everything he stands for.

“In contrast, we leap in, we hold hands, we stumble around a bit whether there’s going to be a state visit or another visit or no visit at all.

“We look like we’re tearing our hair out on this one.”

Mrs Baldwin interjected and blasted the BBC presenter as she defended Theresa May’s foreign policy.

She stated: “I think you’re incredibly negative and pessimistic and BBC-like there Emily.

“The Prime Minister Theresa May was the first person to get over to meet Mr Trump after he was elected.

“So I think that Theresa May has had some fantastic state visits, she has flown out to Japan and we have invited him to return and those discussions are ongoing.”

The insult appeared to get under the skin of Mrs Maitlis who revived the comment in her next question to the Foreign Office Minister.

She declared: “Just to try to get to the bottom of that because I don’t want to sound too BBC-like, whatever that means.

“I’m just trying to work out whether we are welcoming President Trump now, whether that state visit that we heard about is still extended, whether you and the Government would say this is a wonderful thing to be doing now or whether there has been a change of mind.

“I’m just trying to talk about that sense of fumbling around because we don’t actually know anymore.”

Mrs Baldwin then issued the final blow to the BBC presenter by stating that Theresa May had already laid out her plans for a future visit from Mr Trump in Prime Minister’s questions earlier that day.

She replied: “No, the Prime Minister made it very clear today at Prime Minister’s Questions that an invitation has been offered.

“Tomorrow’s summit is one with President Macron and tomorrow’s summit will be one where we are really focusing on.

Theresa May just handed Remoaner ex-Chancellor George Osborne a HUGE PUNISHMENT after ‘Project Fear’

0

The Prime Minister has handed the ex-Chancellor Of The Exchequer and one of Britain’s biggest Remoaners George Osborne a huge punishment by refusing to invite him to take a seat in the House of Lords.

In case you can’t remember Mr Osborne, while he was in charge of Britain’s finances in the run up to the 2016 EU referendum, his Treasury department was responsible for arguably the biggest collection of lies in the whole campaign – the now famous ‘Project Fear.’

The British people were given shocking forecast after shocking forecast about how the entire economy would ‘go to hell’ in the event of a Brexit vote, and one by one these have all been picked apart and proved wrong by leading academic figures in this country.

In many ways, THAT costly booklet that was sent to every UK home should now be taking pride of place on the ‘fiction’ shelf in Waterstones!

By denying Osborne a peerage, Mrs May is breaking with more than 50 years of tradition where previous holders of the role are invited to the House of Lords – it has to be remembered that Osborne didn’t leave office on the best of terms.

When May won the Conservative leadership contest, it was very much an ‘on your bike’ scenario!

Ol’ Gideon has done OK though so we shouldn’t all feel too bad for him, especially as his is now editor of the Evening Standard.

According to a report in The Express:

A source from Downing Street seemed unremorseful for snubbing the ex-Treasury man when they said: “George Osborne did a great job as Chancellor clearing up the mess left by Labour.

“He chose to stand down at the election, and is much missed, but is clearly managing to fill his time in a number of other ways.”

A bitter rivalry has developed between the former Cabinet colleagues after Mrs May sacked Mr Osborne.

Mocking the now London Evening Standard Editor when receiving a “politician of the year” award from him shortly after becoming Conservative leader Mrs May said: “I am particularly pleased to receive the award from George because I gather when it came to the voting it actually got very tight.

“I owe it to George – he just nudged me over the line because he told all the other members of the jury that if they didn’t vote for me, the economy would collapse and world war three would start.”

That last quote is an interesting one –  it seems that he was responsible for multiple ‘Project Fear’ efforts!

It is fair enough to say that Mrs May’s leadership hasn’t exactly been plain sailing all the way since she came into office, but the words of Osborne do seem to reek very much of spite from someone who is now effectively ‘on the outside of the the tent, spitting in.’

Having said all of this, the House of Lords is developing a reputation as a talking shop where nobody really does anything resembling ‘a day’s work,’ so Osborne getting a place in there probably wouldn’t have made a huge difference to Britain anyway.

Andrew Neil SAVAGES Labour MP over Corbyn’s failure to condemn Iran government

0

The BBC’s Andrew Neil has been praised for effectively silencing a Labour MP on his TV show over Jeremy Corbyn’s failure to condemn the government of Iran in the wake of their recent violent crackdown on democratic protestors.

In recent weeks, TV screens have been filled with images of government-backed forces being incredibly heavy handed with Iranian citizens who have a democratic right to protest peacefully on the streets, and prominent figures around the world have been lining up accordingly to condemn these awful scenes.

Someone in the United Kingdom has remained strangely quiet about this issue however, and you might recognise him – he is is the leader of the opposition!

According to a report in The Express, Neil roasted Labour frontbencher Chi Onwurah by saying:

What evidence has Labour ever given in recent weeks that it supports the democratic forces in Iran?

“Did Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell, did Emily Thornberry – your foreign affairs spokesperson – did any of them utter words of support for the democratic protestors?

“Can you point that to me? Can you point me to any public support Labour has given for the democratic protestor in Iran?”

This was an ideal opportunity for Ms Onwurah to tell the nation exactly why any right-minded politician would condemn such brutality and even make a good impression on this issue on behalf of the rest of her party.

Her reply however was totally inadequate.

She said: “My view of the Islamist Revolution is that it is not directly relevant to my constituents in Newcastle right now.

“I certainly feel that our position on Iran and supporting the democracy in Iran and elsewhere is as set-out by our shadow secretary.”

The shadow minister Emily Thornberry is the highest profile Labour politician to venture into this territory so far, and even her comments completely miss the point.

She warned: “The picture surrounding the protests in Iran remains highly uncertain and Western politicians should be cautious in claiming to understand their origins, organisation or objectives when many Iranian experts are still struggling to do so.”

So while innocent people are getting seven shades of ‘you know what’ kicked out of them, Thornberry actually has the nerve to try and scold those who are condemning the violence and brutality.

This seems to be the Labour way unfortunately – as a party nowadays they seem to have huge difficulties when it comes to identifying ‘the bad guys.’

In many ways, Thornberry’s words were incredibly patronising as anybody would be appalled at the scenes over there at the moment – you don’t have to be a politician with a top-level education to realise when something is plain wrong.

As with every other Labour failing of this nature, the blame has to rest with the man at the very top – a leader who seemed to have no qualms in the past about associating with people like Gerry Adams of the IRA.

The upside of all of this? The fact that more and more people will now be aware that Labour are completely unsuitable for power with their ‘kinder politics.’

Pro-Brexit MP SHUTS DOWN Scottish MP’s anti-Brexit argument

0

Joanna Cherry and JOhn Redwood clashed in the House of Commons while debating the EU withdrawal bill.

The SNP MP for Edinburgh South West added: “The wilful ignoring of the will of the Scottish people for me, Mr Speaker, highlights a democratic deficit at the heart of the United Kingdom.

“It’s why I and others on these benches would like to see an independent Scotland.

“But, the irony is that those who pushed so strongly for Brexit were complaining about a democratic deficit in the European Union.

“I know so many of them held that view sincerely but they seem not to care a jot for the democratic deficit in this union – the United Kingdom.”

Mr Redwood, Conservative MP for Wokingham hit back at the Scottish Nationalist: “She has to accept, just like if the Scottish people had voted to leave, we would have accepted the verdict and got on with it against our wishes.

“So now the United Kingdom people have voted the whole union has to accept the democratic judgement.”

The SNP MP hit back implying if Mr Redwood believes “the views of the Scottish people can be blithely ignored on all occasions”

She added: “I’m sure Scottish voters watching on television would love to know if that is what he is saying.”

Mr Redwood concluded: “Absolutely not!

“Scottish voters’ views matter very much, and they have a privileged constitutional position, we are all happy with, so in many areas, Scotland makes her own decisions through her own parliament.

“But when it comes to a union matter I thought we all agreed that where we had a union-wide referendum, the union made the decision and the union parliament needs to implement the wishes of the referendum.”

Tory MSP ROASTS SNP for ‘always blaming Brexit’ in brilliant speech

Tory MSP Dean Lockhart slammed the SNPs “abysmal” track record and shameful blaming for their failure on Brexit.

Mr Lockhart said: “Let me remind the Cabinet minister that the Fiscal Commission is forecasting the economy will grow at less than one percent for each of the next four years – a fraction of the growth expected for the rest of the UK.

“Predictably, the Cabinet minister blames Brexit but he knows the economy under the SNP has underperformed for the past decade. Well before Brexit.”

“The Fraser of Allander have said that such low trends in economic growth for Scotland have not been witnessed for 60 years.

“My question is this: given the SNP’s abysmal track record and the dire economic outlook, does the Cabinet minister agree with leading organisations across Scotland that it’s now time for a change in economic policy?

“And that the SNP’s Four-I policy is not working, and that Scotland needs a new direction in economic policy?”

The Express reported that:

“The Scottish Fiscal Commission suggested Scotland’s GDP growth will be 0.7 percent in both 2017 and 2018, 0.9 percent in 2018, 0.6 percent in 2020, 0.9 percent in 2021 and 1.1 percent in 2022.

This compares to UK GDP growth 1.5 percent in 2017, 1.4 percent in 2018, 1.3 percent in both 2019 and 2020, before picking back up to 1.5 percent, and finally 1.6 percent in 2022, according to Treasury fiscal watchdog the Office of Budget Responsibility.”

This Tory MSP is bang on. All the SNP are able to do is blame Brexit for their failed policies.

It’s a real shame that they cannot own up to their mistakes and move on.

They will do everything in their power to speak down on Brexit.

AN INSULT! Sturgeon and SNP vote to STOP FUNDING the Royal Family after Queen’s 60 years of loyal service

Brexiteer blasts Blair Brexit intrusion after Barnier showdown and it’s spectacular to watch

Lord Digby Jones attacked Tony Blair, Nick Clegg and Lord Adonis for their anti-Brexit comments and attempts to reverse the vote.

Brexiteer trashes Lords’ plan to stop Brexit and it’s brilliant to watch

0

The House of Lords received a grilling by Nigel Evans over their attempts to block Brexit.

Speaking on BBC Daily Politics, Nigel Evans said: “I understand that when it gets to the House of Lords, there are clearly people like Lord Adonis and Michael Heseltine who are still digging trenches and fighting the last war, as far as the referendum is concerned.

“They will unarguably do what they possibly can to thwart Britain leaving the European Union.

“It’s going to be an interesting battle. It’s going to be the peers versus the people.

“It’s going to be the unelected members of the House of Lords versus the sovereignty of the British people who voted in the referendum.

“We all remember that David Cameron sent a pamphlet to every household in the country costing £9million and on the back, it said ‘We will respect the wish of the British people’.

“It’s going to take a very brave House of Lords to stand up against the British people.”

Very well said!

Those who want to stop Brexit are going to have to accept that they will fail.

There will be no second referendum.

We are not going to stay within the European Union, we are leaving and that is final.

Recently, Lord Adonis said: “Nicola Sturgeon has done absolutely the right thing in pursuing her position on a soft Brexit.

“She’s made clear the lunacy of leaving the EU by constantly arguing for a soft Brexit and for European integration.

“The First Minister has done a good job at standing up for Scotland in the Europe debate.”

Opinion poll shows that second EU referendum would have EXACTLY the same outcome

Unless you have spent the last 24 hours on the Moon, you would have heard that Nigel Farage made comments on Channel 5 indicating that there is a possibility of there being a second referendum on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union.

According to the ex-UKIP leader, this will put the question beyond all reasonable doubt after the sheer number of accusations of the last vote being ‘skewed by lies’ or flawed in some other way.

Within nanoseconds of the comments spreading through the mainstream media like wildfire, there were Remoaners literally dancing in the street all over the country.

‘This is the beginning of the end,’ ‘Nigel has flipped’ and ‘Brexit is finished’ were heard in all four corners in the land, with the dull tones of Ode To Joy audible in the background – however there is one small problem that might make them put the champagne on ice.

An opinion poll that was conducted in the aftermath of the comments has revealed that the result would be pretty much the same as the referendum in 2016.

Viribus News set up a Facebook live poll to ask the same simple question that was posed more than a year ago, and the percentage of people who said ‘Leave’ might ring a bell.

That’s right, you guessed it, 52%.

We’ve just run this number past the boys and girls in the lab, and after hours of tests we can exclusively reveal that this is officially a MAJORITY.

Here are the numbers in more detail:

The live poll was run for 4 hours and attracted an audience of 89,348 unique viewers, with 9,512 taking part directly in the vote. The results came in nearly identical to the voting percentages seen in the official EU referendum in June 2016; 4,925 voted leave (52%), 4,482 voted remain (47%) and 104 were undecided (1%).

Looking at the Facebook poll in more detail, it was shared more than 1,400 times, which would go some way towards squashing any allegations that it took place in some sort of ‘Leave’ echo chamber.

If this were the case, the number would be a darn sight higher than 52%!

Let’s be clear about this – Nigel knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

He has just been to Brussels for a meeting with bigwig Michel Barnier, and something from that exchange has clearly pushed his way of thinking towards considering a second referendum.

People have already said that there must be something fishy going on, and we’re inclined to agree!

What on Earth could have prompted him to come out with something so controversial and against the democratic process?

Bearing in mind that the EU has a track record of ignoring referendums (albeit on smaller issues than the outright withdrawal of a member nation), perhaps it is time to seriously consider a repeat vote.

All we have to ensure is that we don’t let Project Fear gain any further traction in the event of a repeat referendum, as members of this disgraced movement are already rubbing their hands together with glee.

For all of their whining about ‘that bus’ and so on, the fact remains that their campaign of lies and scandalous ‘what if’ scenarios was far more laughable than they will ever admit.

Katie Hopkins destroys left-wing BBC journalist over Asylum Seekers 80p allowance increase with just one tweet

0

Katie Hopkins vented her anger over the 80 pence increase for Asylum Seekers allowances.

Danny Shaw, from the BBC, attempted to guilt trip Twitter over the recent increase in Asylum seeker allowances.

He tweeted: “80 pence. That’s the increase asylum seekers will receive from next month in their weekly allowance – taking it to £37.75. The Home office says: “We are satisfied that £37.75 is sufficient to cover the ordinary needs of an average asylum seeker.”

However, Katie Hopkins wasn’t going to let that tweet go unnoticed.

Mrs Hopkins tweeted: “Free home, free health, free schooling. Never paid a penny in. Crossed other countries to get to U.K. Excuse me whilst I search for some sh*ts to give.”

She received hundreds of tweets in support:

What do you think about this increase?

Katie Hopkins just DESTROYED the left for their Brexit irony with just one tweet

Former-LBC presenter and overall truth speaker, Katie Hopkins brilliantly pointed out the hypocrisy of the left when it comes to Brexit.

In a tweet posted on the 29th October, Mrs Hopkins said:

“The left: all Brexit voters are thick, Nazi, racist bastards.

Also the left: ‘Viva Catalonia’ – stand strong for Independence #Catalonia”

https://twitter.com/KTHopkins/status/924562465081393154

It seems the left only believe in independence when its right for them. Catalonians will be leaving the EU if they leave Spain, however, you don’t see them being labelled as ‘thick, nazi, racist bastards”.

Funny that.

Twitter users came out in droves to support Mrs Hopkins and bash the left.

Parliament erupts as Theresa May trashes Jeremy Corbyn and Labour over tax INCREASE

0

Theresa May clashed with Jeremy Corbyn today over their stance on taxation and the private sector.

The PM attacked the Labour saying: “What Labour oppose isn’t just the role for private companies in the public service, but the private sector as a whole.

“The vast majority of this country in employment are employed by the private sector.

“But the Shadow Chancellor classes businesses as the real enemy. Labour wants the highest taxes in our history.

“Labour policies will cause a run on the pound. A Labour party has turned its back on investments, on growth, on jobs.

“A Labour party that will always put politics before people. ”

Mr Corbyn said: “Under this Government, virgin and Stagecoach can spectacularly mismanage the east coastline and be let off a £2billion payment.

“Capita and Atos can continue to destroy lives through damages and disabilities assessments of many people with disabilities and win more government-funded contracts.

“These corporations need to be shown the door.

“We need our public services provided by public employers with a public service ethos and a strong public oversight.”

The Prime Minister replied: “Can I first remind the honourable gentleman that a third of the Carillon contracts were led by the Labour Government.

“We are making sure in this case that public services are continued to be provided, that the workers in those services are looked after and taxpayers are protected.”

Theresa May GRILLS Corbyn with devastating PMQs jibe

Jeremy Corbyn took the brunt of Theresa May’s rant during Prime Ministers Questions

Mrs May and Jeremy Corbyn went head to head during Prime Ministers Questions today which May clearly came out victorious.

When asked what the Conservatives offer young people in Britain, the Prime Minister snapped back.

Mrs May raged: “To echo those of my colleagues, what we offer young people is more jobs, more homes, an opportunity to own their own home.

“Let me just tell the right honourable gentleman, what isn’t fair. It isn’t fair to refuse to take tough decisions and to load debts onto our children and our grandchildren for the future.

“It isn’t fair to bankrupt our economy because that leads to people losing their jobs and losing their homes.

“It isn’t fair to go out and tell people that they can have all of public spending that they want without paying for it.

“Labour’s way leads to fewer jobs, higher prices, more taxes, and Labour’s way means everyone pays the price of Labour.”

Responding to remarks over the NHS and public sector pay, Mrs May replied: “We both value public sector workers and services. The difference is I know we have to pay for them.

“I and all members of this House value the work that is done by public sector workers including those in the NHS and others and I understand why other feel strongly about the issue of their pay but perhaps I can just set out what the current position is.

“We have had three pay review bodies in the public sector reporting in March – that covered doctors and dentists, NHS staff including nurses and the armed forces.

“The government accepted the recommendations in all three of those cases.”

Statement from government expected imminently as 11,000 sign petition to allow all UK citizens to vote for the Mayor of London

0

The government is expected to issue a statement as 11,000 have signed a petition to allow all UK citizens to vote for the London Mayor.

According to the governments, official petition website the “Government responds to all petitions that get more than 10,000 signatures”.

The petition which can be signed here states:

“London being the capital city, all UK citizens should have a say who becomes mayor.

The whole of the UK should be allowed to vote on who becomes mayor of our capital city, as what happens in London also affect the outer towns and cities,
So voting should be changed, so people living outside London can have their say through a vote who they would like to see become mayor of London.”

The petition can be signed here.

Mr Khan is getting far too big for his boots and it’s about time he stops trying to represent the entire country and focus on issues specific to London.

Maybe he should start tracking down the 200 ISIS fighters who have returned to the capital.

Currently, only one known fighter is being monitored.

Sadiq Khan won’t welcome Trump to London, but he represented ISLAMIC HATE PREACHER in 2001

Although it is now well-known that the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan is strongly opposed to the President of the United States of America Donald Trump coming to London, what many people may not realise is that Khan was more than prepared to represent a known hate preacher back in 2001.

According to a post on Leave.EU:

Sadiq Khan won’t welcome President Trump to London but happily represented hate preacher Louis Farrakhan in 2001 in his efforts to overturn a ban on coming to Britain.

Farrakhan denounced white people as ‘devils’, Jews as ‘bloodsuckers’ and called Hitler a ‘very great man’.

Just to put all of this into perspective, Donald Trump is in charge of the most powerful country on the planet, ‘free world’ or otherwise.

It has also been hilarious to see the ex-Mayor ‘Red’ Ken Livingstone taking a similarly irate approach towards the possibility of having Trump in London.

After all, Mr Livingstone has NEVER welcomed anyone who is a potential threat to the United Kingdom with open arms … oh wait …

This happened in London in 1983 – it is the same Gerry Adams that seemed to be so chummy with Jeremy Corbyn as well.

Not to worry though about Corbyn, he’s only the leader of the opposition who shockingly is moving closer and closer to the big time with every single Tory balls-up that comes to pass.

All we are saying is that while it is all well and good to get up on your high horse about Trump and other similar issues, it is very rare that the loudest voices are entirely non-hypocritical.

That’s politics baby …
