The Brexit-loving acting legend Sir Michael Caine has just managed to completely and utterly DESTROY Jean-Claude Juncker and the rest of the European Union yet again.
However this time, the main difference is that he has done it with just two short sentences!
Over on the Leave.EU Facebook page, a quote from Sir Michael was posted yesterday and it has already had 10,000 likes and more than 2,500 shares because it is so amazingly brutal:
Up until I was 20, I thought Luxembourg was a radio station. I didn’t even know it was a country and now he’s running my country – and he doesn’t seem to like us.
Here, he is mocking Juncker’s role as a prominent Luxembourg politician, and the fact that the word ‘Luxembourg’ is more famous for being some sort of radio station.
That just about sums it all up really when it comes to describing the European Union as an institution that it is full of people who really don’t deserve to be wielding so much power over the United Kingdom and the other current member states.
The best thing about this whole put-down is the fantastically understated way that Sir Michael says ‘and he doesn’t seem to like us.’
What he is basically saying here is ‘boo hoo Jean-Claude.’
The truth is that like many, many other people in the United Kingdom, Sir Michael honestly couldn’t give a toss what Jean-Claude and the rest of them think about us.
The simple fact is that we are leaving and there’s not really too much that anyone can do about it.
He can hold as many cosy meetings with Tony Blair as he wants …
Sir Michael Caine BLASTS EU Chief Juncker: YOU are the reason I voted for Brexit!
There has been a lot of media coverage in the past week about the disgusting abuse that actor Sir Michael Caine has received online after he revealed that he was a big supporter of Brexit.
Remoaners have been queueing up on Facebook and Twitter with a variety of insulting messages and images targetted at this hero, and his only ‘crime’ was to publicly come out and say that he voted Leave!
However, Sir Michael has now cranked things up a gear by saying that one of the main reasons why he voted to Leave was that European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker is a JOKE.
We love it Sir Michael! We couldn’t have put it any better …
While he is currently promoting his new film Going in Style in Spain, he told respected daily El Mundo: “I voted in favour of Brexit. I did it because once I heard Jean-Claude Juncker speak.
“This man was the former Prime Minister of a country almost as small as a radio station.
“I heard this man say what he felt David Cameron, the then-Prime Minister of my country and a person I had voted for, had to do.
“Who had elected Juncker? And what for? It seemed like a joke to me. From that moment I decided not to pay any attention to my Prime Minister and vote for Brexit.
“Perhaps we’re in a complicated situation now, but we’re England and I think we will come through this.”
Wow! Someone famous is coming out and backing Britain in the Brexit process – you can almost hear the foaming Remoaner cyber warriors sharpening their keyboards.
‘Foaming Remoaners’ – that sounds good doesn’t it! If anyone wants to form a band with that name, you heard it here first and we’ll take 10%.
