Appearing on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, he said: “The country had to understand just how damaging Brexit is.
“And, we have to have the chance to change it before the final treat arrangements are consolidated.”
The host said: “Do you think that is an option – to stop Brexit – despite the will of the people?”
Lord Heseltine replied: “Yes.
“The will of the people, already, as the public opinion tests show in the polls, there is a bigger majority against Brexit than the one they got for Brexit.
“The essence of this democracy is the sovereignty of Parliament, and it is for Parliament to decide whether the deal, when we see what it is, should actually be agreed to.”
Nigel Farage is one of the few politicians who use Twitter to their advantage and actually speaks their mind
The ex-UKIP leader was particularly upset with Mr Heseltine’s recent comments regarding Brexit.
Lord Heseltine believes that the UK would one day join the Euro and that Brexit may not happen.
Nigel Farage’s response is hilarious.
Oh no. It looks like Mr Heseltine has escaped from the National History Museum again. https://t.co/PoLcSnh7Ky

Other Twitter users mocked Lord Heseletine and backed Farage.
I've tracked him down. Heading south on M25.
